Choosing your colour and effect

Each product page describes the design's effect based on its images. Here's how to find your way.

Three intensities

  • Subtle: a soft colour that lets your natural shade show through.
  • Noticeable: a clear-cut colour that stands out more.
  • Bold: full-cover or patterned designs for Halloween, cosplay or a party.

Lens on its own or worn: why the result changes

On its own against a background, a lens often looks brighter. On the eye, its tint sits over your iris: depending on how opaque the design is, your natural colour shows through more or less.

Light or dark eyes

On dark eyes, translucent tints show less: for a visible change, go for a noticeable or bold effect. On light eyes, the tint blends more with your natural colour.

Light, distance and camera

Daylight, indoor lighting, a night out: the result changes with light, distance and camera.

Full-cover designs and low light

Some tinted or full-cover lenses can affect your vision, especially in low light or at the edges. Follow the leaflet and don't drive with them if it advises against it.

Torn between two looks? The Duo lets you pick two different colours.

First use

The leaflet comes first

These tips follow the general precautions found in contact lens leaflets. They don't replace your design's instructions for use: if anything differs, the leaflet prevails. Read it carefully before use.

  • Before first use, ask an eye-care professional for advice (ophthalmologist, optician or optometrist).
  • Wash and dry your hands before putting your lenses in or taking them out.
  • Never share your lenses: a lens that has been worn must not be used by anyone else.
  • Stick to the maximum wearing time stated in the leaflet and don't sleep in your lenses.
  • Follow the warnings in the leaflet, especially about driving and contact with water (shower, bath, swimming pool).
  • Remove the lens straight away if you feel pain, irritation, burning, itching, redness, unusual watering, marked dryness or blurred vision. If symptoms persist after removal, see a healthcare professional (ophthalmologist).
  • For an event like Halloween, do a trial run in advance, without rushing.

Care

How long to use your lenses, when to replace them and which care solution to use are stated in each design's leaflet. Always follow it.

  • Clean, dry hands every time you handle them.
  • Never clean your lenses with tap water.
  • Don't reuse storage solution.
  • Keep make-up and sprays away from your lenses.
  • Don't use your lenses after the expiry date.
